Synopsis

Based on the cartoons of Charles Addams, this creepy and kooky series from the 1960s features everyone's favourite freaky family. In this collection of classic episodes, patriarch Gomez (John Astin) takes at stab at being mayor, Cousin It goes bald, Pugsley transforms into a chimp (thanks to the efforts of his dear uncle Fester), and Lurch takes the music world by storm. This delightfully dark show appears to be as immortal as its strange characters.

This wonderful series will never lose its charm - you can watch it in sequence or just pick it up on a whim - the characters are so fresh and the concept amazing - one of my favourites and now my son who is 11 has watched the whole series!!!

Another fine collection of Addams family episodes. The highlight for me being the one where Lurch becomes a Pop Star. Brilliant stuff. Well acted and every character perfectly portrayed. This set has a couple of nice extras. The "Audio" commentary by Thing and Cousin Itt being short but very sweet.
If you watched it as a kid, buy it for the memories. If you haven't experienced it yet, buy it for the laughs. They're altogether Ooky.
