One of the fastest selling puzzles of all time is making its long awaited comeback on 28th July 2007 with a fantastic $2 million prize on offer to the first person to complete the 256 piece puzzle…..it could be you!

Eternity II is the follow up to Eternity I which captured the imagination of thousands of people in the UK 8 years ago when a cheque for £1 million was handed over to a student who successfully solved the puzzle in just five months.

Unlike most puzzles, which only have one correct way of completing the final solution, there are thousands of ways that Eternity II can be solved to win the $2 million prize. The puzzle consists of 256 square pieces that are bordered by coloured patterns which must be aligned across the whole puzzle.

When you have completed your puzzle submit your solution as fast as you can. All solutions submitted will be locked away in a fault until 31st December 2008. On 31st December all solutions will be opened in date order received and the first person with a complete solution wins $2million.

Eternity II will be available as a range of products including the main prize puzzle with a guide retail price of £34.99 (256 pieces) and two further ‘Clue’ puzzles. Clue Puzzle 1 with a guide retail price of £9.99 (36 pieces) and Clue Puzzle 2 with a guide retail price of £19.99 (72 pieces). Forget the fact that you can win 2 million dollars if you are the first to complete it, once you open the pack and pop out all the pieces you just can't stop trying to place them on the board in the correct order. I've got half way through before running out of options so had to start again. This really is going to keep me busy for a very long time! Great fun. Very addictive and it can be quite frustrating. I would seriously warn against this for people with short attention spans and short fuses. After a weeks worth of puzzling I have got to the last 8 pieces twice and have found that I cannot put them anywhere. I got the first Eternity when it came out which was just about fitting pieces together, this one has patterns to math up. The patterns can be hard to recognise after you have looked at them so long that all the colours blend together and you get puzzle blindness!
