I ordered these socks for my sister for Christmas and because I could not find any sizing guidelines in the details ordered a medium. Turns out these are huge - women's size 8 - 9 (how many women have feet that big?. So for normal-sized women's feet order a small (5 - 7) and for small feet order extra small.
My sister has not tried them yet, so I can't comment on how warm they are - however, the battery is very large and looks a bit cumbersome and I have to say I'm not that impressed. Probably not worth the money.
