Not 12 LEDs as the title suggests. Also the light is very blue/metallic in colour. The everyready ones are much warmer in colour.

LED lamps are great for their very low current and they are only warm at their hottest. Makes them really good for table lamps where they might be touched and the light of a halogen is probably too bright. Having said that, you can't really use these lamps in the ceiling and expect everything to be lit up like a stage. I use them in the ceiling where I want enough light not to slip on toys on the floor but don't want to burn up a couple hundred watts to do it. Horses for courses, but you'll definitely feel really futuristic and virtuous with LEDs. The dead white colour isn't for everyone but I like it.

By the way, you can do a lot better than this on ebay for 20/21 LED GU10s.

I am sure it was my fault but I completely mis-read this advertisement and assumed that there would be 12 bulbs. OK, that was much too cheap but there are bargains to be had on Amazon. This was, I am sorry to say, not one of them! I think the 12 x might refer to the length of life of the bulb, I am really not sure. What I do know is that you only get one bulb for the price and maybe that could be made clearer in the advert. There was nothing wrong with the product or service and I am sure there was no intent to mislead but I did get it wrong and wonder if others might too.
