I already own a number of memory sticks from Sony so immediately I opened the package I knew something was not right - The stick was just in a plastic container, no manufacturers packaging nothing. On looking at the stick itself, it is marked up "Magic Gate" but there was no switch on there, and also not all the Sony branding was on there(as per my other original sticks)the proof is when you then insert the stick into a Sony device (new digital camera in this case), the camera recognises the stick as "not an original product". Also when you put the stick directly into the PC mem stick slot, the PC will not recognise it. Despite all this, the stick will work in the camera, and when the camera is connected via UsB to PC, you can transfer files as normal, but if you are looking for a genuine Sony product, this is not the place to buy it!!

This item is superb. Reads data fast and can hold data up to 7.57gb which is a lot!!!.
I want to advise; never buy memory stick from third party sellers just because its a little cheaper. There are lots of fake memory sticks made in china which look so much like the genuine memory stick. I actually bought a memory stick before from a seller in ebay because it was cheaper but what I got was a fake one which doesnt work properly (can't read data and can't take data more than 1~2gb). Get it from amazon, its the most sure, fast, cheap way to get a GENUINE memory stick.
