Bought this RAM as an upgrade for my aging laptop. The RAM was the correct spec and capacity for my laptop.

When the laptop + new RAM did work, it was nice and quick. However this was rare as the RAM was faulty - causing the blue screen of death either on boot up or 5 mins after Windows had booted up. Putting in my old RAM cured this.

However - the seller (Neil @ Shop4USB) was fantastic, and promptly replied to my emails and offered good advice. Unfortunatly as the RAM was faulty, the advice did not work. The seller accepted the return and provided a full refund with no quibbles.

I bought this chip for a Mac G4 powerbook as iTunes 9 wasn't running very well, It now runs a lot better on the iTunes store which was so slow. Generally the speed of my Mac has improved and I was very pleased with the new memory.

Its amazing what a bit more memory does for your PC. Mine was crawling along with only 512MB, but now boosted to 2GB its humming along very nicely.
