This kit works really well. I have connected it to a timer and also added some normal hose onto the run so that I can have it it my green house, and then also run it into my raised veg beds all from the same kit. I just bought some extra connectors and used some old hose from the garden to customise it for what I wanted. I would really recommend this system over the narrower tube kits (which I have never been able to get to work).

Have only used in raised beds, perfect with the aid of a timer, just under the soil and on twice a day for ten minutes, so far so good!! If left on surface, some of the holes will spray water rather than seep, so best to put light layer of soil on top. Good value compared to other brands.

I had already purchased one of these from a Garden centre but wanted another as an extension to it.
The connectors weren't very good on this one with the result that water did leak between it and the old hose and it had been so tightly coiled when packed that despite a great deal of effort I was unable to get the hose to straighten out properly with the result that a lot of water didn't actually go on any of the plants and I ended up having to secure it with bricks and pegs!
I will persevere with it though in the hopes that as it wears it will start to straighten out.
