I found this book to be an invaluable resource with reference to print and internet design. It goes into depth on colour wheels, palettes and how colours relate to one another as well as some print techniques and basic font usage.

It also has a great section at the back listing a large selection of websites/designs by colour in thumbnail format which can be quite useful to glance at.
