A comprehesive and compact guide to Rotterdam; I previously knew nothing about the place except that it is in Holland! The introduction explained why the centre is very modern, yet still of architectural interest; and with hints and tips of what to do, where to shop and where to drink, and lots of local information, this book should be all you need for a visit to Rotterdam. It is full of maps, bus, train and tram routes,and is small enough to keep in your pocket or handbag.

I usually go to Rotterdam every year for the Carnival and bought this book to help me make the most of my trip. It is a brilliant pocket sized source of info. It includes Dutch phrases, maps, restaurants, shops, clubs and gave a very clear overview of all the things Rotterdam has to offer. Prior to my trip I was able to plan my itinerary and the map made it easy to find. I would definitely recommend this book as a wonderful source which can assist you in exploring the city. Most of it can by done on foot and the enclosed map, made it all so easy. Bon voyage and be blessed.
