Product Description

"Everybody who goes to school does homework. You are not alone. And they feel just as sick as you do when they have to do it." Trevor Romain knows how horrible homework can be, and kids will see this right away as they page through this book, grin at the cartoons, and smile at Trevor's funny insights. Meanwhile, they'll discover valuable truths and pointers about homework: "People who say homework is a waste of time don't know what they are talking about. "The best way to get your homework done without feeling sick every time you see it is to just do it." Kids will also learn how to make a homework schedule, when to do the hardest homework (first!), the benefits of doing homework, and more - serious suggestions delivered with wit and humour because laughter makes learning fun.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothing new really., 4 Jan 2010
This review is from: How to Do Homework without Throwing Up (Laugh and Learn) (Paperback)
Anyone who has ever seen a school even only from the outside, has already heard all the suggestions stated in this booklet. It is supposed to be humerous, but where is the humour? I've tried quite hard to find it, but haven't.Perhaps it's useful for parents to check if they have forgotten to tell their children anything, but I don't think that children concerend will read past the first few pages.

5.0 out of 5 stars A sure way to get kids laughing about their homework blues!, 22 July 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Do Homework without Throwing Up (Laugh and Learn) (Paperback)
Anyone who teaches kids 3rd grade and up will want to read this book out loud at the beginning of school! This is also a great book to loan to parents of those kids---a nice way to give parents some suggestions when they say, "How can I get my child to do their homework?"

5.0 out of 5 stars This book was GREAT!!!, 27 July 1999

This book is with out a dout the 2nd best book I have ever read! No offense to the author, but I loved The Diary Of A Killer Cat by Anne Frank. I think this book was not only for teachers, adults, counslers. I think this book would be most entertaining to students like me. I am a student and I read this book every night before I go to bed. I'd give this book 6 STARS!!!
