This device is like Pandoras box, there seems no computer type task it cannot perform with both speed and alacrity. You can - save and display pictures, send and receive emails, surf the web, take pictures and an absolute host of attributes too numerous to list. I may not have found them all yet. If you haven't got one - sad! Christmas is coming - drop hints all over the place and then - enjoy.

A straight-forward guide with no technical jargon. 17 Mar. 2011

This is a straight-forward guide with no technical jargon. This may sound ridiculus to some but even the most common sensical tips in the guide were very helpful to me.

I highly rommend this guide, even if you previously owned an iPad or iPhone this guide is very helpful.

I was up and running with the new features in no time 16 Mar. 2011
By Cara Mackenzie - Published on Amazon.com

The iPad 2 is considerably different from the first generation iPad even though it may not immediately seem like it. Therefore, when I got my hands on this new gadget, it was all the more important to know what I was doing. This guide helped me to do just that, and I was up and running with the new features in no time.

The first thing I naturally wondered about was the camera. After referring to this book on the topic, I was able to do everything much more proficiently. I became camera savvy, if you will. Not only did I learn how to take pictures, this guide taught me how to share my photos and manage them using my Mac, too.

I think the iPad 2 Survival Guide can benefit those just picking up Apple's coolest invention for the first time and those who have been with it since the first generation. The tips and tricks chapter alone made this a great buy. The tip on retrieving previously deleted emails and the little trick to use to prevent accidental application closing were really helpful. Five stars for a great reference tool.

Save your money 2 Dec. 2011

SAVE YOUR MONEY!! No index, only a Table of Contents. This makes it very hard to find an answer to a problem. It does not have any more information than the User Guide

Apple has an "IPAD USER GUIDE" on Safari that gives a very good explanation of the features.

You can download (free) a hardcopy of the User Guide that is much better (has an index)for reference.

Great book to have. This book is like the ipad dictionary. Although I feel that something like this should be included with the money that one pays for a tablet etc. It was nice to know that I could purchase one for a reasonably price!
