About the Author
Vin Ray joined the BBC in 1987. He has worked as producer on the Nine O'Clock News, TV Foreign Editor, World News Editor and Executive Editor. He is currently Deputy Head of Newsgathering, a post which includes overseeing the recruitment and development of the BBC's on-air talent. He lives in Blackheath, London.
