Lots of good sound advice and new ideas I had not thought about. It helps you work out what type of childcare will suit you - there are lots of pros and cons lists which are really helpful, and tables and assessment sheets to fill in. It also provides really useful lists of questions to ask when interviewing different types of childcare.

It gives all the information that you need and is easy to read and navigate through. It has lots of quotes from parents - it is always good to know others are feeling the same way as you! There is a chapter which helps you look at yourself and how you feel about parenting and childcare. As well giving clear guidance and good ideas it has also given me a great deal of confidence in my search and also in how to settle my child in and deal with any problems that may crop up. It also gives good advice about relatives helping with childcare, another area I sometimes find quite tricky.
