3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad at all., 26 April 2000

I have always been a Blake's Seven fan and read this book with anticipation. Overall it's quite good although I don't think it will ever be the same as watching the videos. A good introduction in a condensed form.

4.0 out of 5 stars Blakeless Blake's 7!, 11 Feb 2000
By A Customer
The heroes without their leader, missing since the attack on Star One at the end of Series 2, here relive the first few episodes of Series 4.

The escape from Terminal, Cally's death and the replacement of "Liberator" and Zen with "Scorpio" and Slave. Soolin also joins the crew.

The stories mainly revolve around Avon's attempts to make "Scorpio" into a worhty successor to "Liberator", and the start of his decline into - paranoia? insecurity? - as the pressure of following in Blake's footsteps starts to tell. And we all know how that ended, on Gauda Prime! Will anyone ever write the rest of the Blake's 7 story?

3.0 out of 5 stars Series Back-Up, 25 Jan 1999
By A Customer
Trevor Hoyle has taken the first four episodes of the fourth season and made them into a readable format. A few minor changes to dialogue, action content and characters have been made. All in all, a good back-up guide to the beginning of the fourth season and a great reminder if you've been unable to purchase any of the videos.
