I am really impressed with this Dictionary. Besides the general layout, which is incredibly clear, it has every word I can think of in it! An unmissable aid to Italian language students. In the centre of the dictionary is a section giving invaluable aids such as numbers, dates, times and even examples of job applications, references, complaints for bad workmanship etc. It is Simply the BEST!!

It is easy to use and I have found everything I have needed for reference purposes in this dictionary, plus lots more. There are many detailed entries and plenty of examples to help you use a word or phrase in the correct context. I have been studying Italian for a year but would say this dictionary would be suitable for complete beginners to the more experienced linguist.

There are many expressions in it.
For Italian lerners, who are not English native speakers,
is it very useful and you can look for
the suitable words and expressions which you want.
Lean Italian with it,
and you must come to the marverous Italian language world.

I took ages deciding between this massive dictionary and the Collins biggest dictionary. Collins has always been very user-friendly and clear in smaller versions but when I read a review saying that the Oxford was more suitable for advanced levels, I chose that. I wish I had stuck with Collins. I'm now tending to refer to the Collins pocket, before going to the Oxford as a sort of last resort. I find some definitions a bit confusing, text is a bit pale and the Oxford is almost heavier than I can handle. It is HUGE.
