Product Description

Synopsis

Two identical murders, one on the East coast and one on the West. Two identical little girls, who may or may not be criminally involved. Are these mirror-murders just a bizarre coincidence? FBI agents Mulder and Scully don't think so.

4.0 out of 5 stars Absorbing, involving and beautifully read, 11 Mar 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: "X-files": Shapes (Audio Cassette)
Audiobooks have come a long way since the days of pure, raw, readings. Kerry Shale brings this story to life. As for the X-Files, well, you know the format of "Spooky Mulder" and "Sceptic Scully". This audiobook brings the story to life, and makes ideal listening for an X Files Fan. The truth may be out there, but when you listen to this one, driving along a dark motorway at night, the story becomes involving and absorbing. The truth comes inside. In the car. Patting gently on the windshield. This is a perfect present for an X Files fan.

The humour in the audiobook versions is more "in your face" than in most of the TV versions. Beautifully read by Kerry Shale, with his deep, involving American voice, the prodigious audiobook narrator brings the story to life.

Not tried an audiobook yet? Then this is an ideal intro to the genre. Check out the other X Files audiobooks, or other Kerry Shale narrated stories, also available at Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars The X Files: Eve, 19 Jan 2003
By Michael Abernethy (Sunderland, Wearside United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
As the story begins, Mulder and Scully investigate two disturbingly similar deaths. In both cases, the father of a young girl has been mysteriously "Murdered." Over 75% of the blood in their bodies has been drained away, most likely through their jugular veins.

Upon further investigation of the two murders, Mulder and Scully find that the daughters of the two men (each on opposite coasts of the United States) are exactly identical. It turns out that the children are actually the results of a genetic program called the Litchfield Experiment. The offspring of this experiment have extra chromos

Unfortunately for Mulder and Scully, the young girls have one more trick up their sleeves. They try to poison the agents with plants that they grew themselves.

Are the two girls involved in their fathers murders,
Agents Mulder and Scully need to find out befor the next crop of killers are born

4.0 out of 5 stars Good story but I wish that it was longer, 24 April 2000
By A Customer
I have read this book three times, and have enjoyed it as I am a big x file fan. I had an insight into the story,as I had seen the episode on t.v., which helped me to understand the story. Sometimes I find x file stories hard to understand. I reccommend this book, but felt the story finished too soon
