I have been using the ancestry website for about a year now, got quite a big tree and I want to save all the info onto my laptop to use offline.
Has anyone else bought the software later?
How easy is it to transfer the info across?
Can you add the 6 months free membership on to an existing account (username)?

If you convert your tree into a gedcom on Ancestry then you can easily import it into the FTM tree. (I dont think all the records get transferred tho)
And I also added the free membership onto my existing membership so you should be ok

To insert a product link use the format: [[ASIN:ASIN product-title]] (What's this?)
