What a simple, but brilliant idea. A pad, about A4 sized, crisscrossed with elasticated bands of various thicknesses. The result is a very effective way to store all sorts of items, either when travelling or just around the house.

It's especially good for wires, something I've always had a problem getting un-tangled after they've been left for a while, but you can just as easily use it for batteries, mobiles, headphones etc. In the video you can see I quickly get a lot of stuff secured, it really is as simple as it looks.

It's not designed to be carried out in the open, you'll need to pop it in your bag. It's not all about travel, you could very easily use this to tidy up all the cables you've collected over the years from gadgets.

Great idea that's been very well executed.

Very useful for both travel and home; keeps all sync and charging cables in check and takes up less space in a bag than a lump of knotted cables at the bottom of the bag; can store more in a bag pocket as you don't need to dig around cables to get to something else. The elastic is strong and doesn't feel flimsy to loose grip on a bulky cable or phone. Each elastic has rubber dots for grip. Great rigid back and a zip compartment. Well made - the elastic won't come loose of the backing board and seams.

These Grid-it are so useful for holidays or days out, I can't speak highly enough. This will fit in one of the pockets of a back pack where you can have straight at hand, earphones, pens, pencils, the odd painkiller! Small bottle of antibacterial gel, plasters. There is a small zipper pocket on the back of it, where you could keep a small amount of money.

The only drawback of this which I did not think about was the weight. It was much heavier than I expected . But to counter that it is very well constructed and is very easy to use and fill with little items. or camera, iPod, headphones etc. does not take up much room in a suitcase but does in a 'man=bag'. All in all a very useful accessory.

Not a cure all for untidy cables, need to think about what you are putting in it. Large items will dominate the space.Thought I could just bung loads of cables in it but although it is mega adaptable its not a tardis!

Well made and does exactly what it says. A cheaper option than the main competitor.

Happy enough with it to order 2 more (one as a gift)

perfect for keeping all my cables in one place, just need to remember to put them all back after I've use them.
