I received the bag within a week and after opening the packaging which was quite adequate I started to check over the bag. The stitching looks good and the webbing looks very strong, I was very impressed with the number of pockets and pouches. There are plenty of webbing straps all over the bag for sliding thin items under and there are three Velcro straps that hold the shoulder pad in place that could also be used to attach additional small items under. The main compartment is a good size and looks highly waterproof with the tie up top, the rest of the compartments that zip up look waterproof too and due to this I will be careful with the open compartments to ensure they do not hold water in heavy rain. The only area I would slightly criticise the bag is where the shoulder strap is stitched into the large flat pocket at its highest point the area into the pocket is open and it is possible that water could run down the strap into the pocket, hopefully this should not get into the main compartment due to that being waterproof, but this could also be seen as a bonus if you needed to carry a long thin item. Overall I was impressed enough to give the bag five stars and order another one in black and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fishing, hiking and any other outdoor pursuits. Thanks.

I bought this recently as a more affordable way of trying out bags such as the Maxpedition Versipack. I wasn't expecting much in terms of quality at this price, but was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived. This bag is more suited to people who would carry it over their left shoulder and hanging down by their right side, so bear that in mind if you're left handed and would want to access it on your left hand side. The build quality is actually very good, similar to sling bags I've checked out that cost 4 times the price or more. The features are similar, the main ones being a bottle holder pouch, sunglasses/phone pouch on the top section, various MOLLE loops, velcro fields and a cinch strap over the main compartment to keep the contents relatively waterproof. If anyone is wondering what the odd T-shaped patch of velcro is on the front section, it's actually a velcro handgun holster which is designed to restrain your handgun in the concealed carry compartment. That's not something that we in the UK will need much so it really just speaks of US origins for this type of bag. Personally, I just discarded the T-piece since it doesn't serve any purpose for me.

In use, it takes a surprising amount of gear. I can fit my iPad mini in the main compartment and still have 3/4 of the compartment available. The outside pouches will take smartphone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, a drinks bottle, headphones and still have space left. There seems to be a compartment for everything. Inside the pockets there are either loops or a net divider, as is the case in the main compartment.

I use this as a grab-and-go man bag for the items I tend to carry around with me most of the time.

This is the first review I have ever written because this bag is so amazing.

I live in N.Ireland and recieved the bag after only 4 days.

I had been looking at the maxpedition versipacks for awhile but simply could not justify the £60 or £70 price tag. I was amazed to find an almost identical bag for such a good price.

The bag itself is amazingly strong and I am rough on my gear. The material is very tight but will become flexible with use, personally I see this as a plus because pens or flashlights I slide through the webbing stay put.

You can fit alot of stuff into this bag and I love the many compartments and variable ways to store items.

I use this as my EDC (Every Day Carry) bag to and from work and just generally out and about.

The straps and zips are rugged and seem as though they will go the diatance. Overall one very happy customer.

Firstly the amount of pockets it's awesome, yes there is the danger of looking 'too military type' (especially given the green tone) but for this price, you have an unbeatable deal for a bag that will carry all of your light traveller kit.
I bought it for my first trip to Africa so I could carry my SLR (Nikon D5100 wtih 18-55 and 70-300 lenses) and I couldn't be happier. The padding is great all around the bag.

Pros - well built, stylish, quality of the materials exceeded my expectation given the price range. The number of extra pockets, protection is perfect. There are hidden compartiments inside and at the back which are great to keep your passport or other larger documents making it the ideal travel companion!
Cons - On the bottom there is no padding so if you drop the bag you may damage more fragile products.
The strap that allows the bag to close is not as long as it should be! So if you fill up the bag quite alot you wont be able to close the bucket - It's a con if like me you want to throw in an SLR and a few more items, but for your normal daily journey travelling in around a city it is of the perfect size.
