2.5 stars for VAMPIRE JUSTICE (Book 1).
Pretty good story, but the plot was a little weak. This is the first story in a series about two vampire clans. Louis is leader of the Reynard clan. He is killing humans. Claude is from the d'Argent clan. He is trying to find Louis to kill him to stop the murders. While Claude is watching the streets, he sees a human stripper Marisa being harassed by two men in an alley. After she goes into the club, Claude goes in to watch her perform. He is immediately attracted to her. Her brother Raul owes money to a drug lord and will be hurt or killed if she doesn't come up with some money to help him. She offers herself to Claude as a prostitute (for the first time for her) to get $2,000. He agrees and they go to his room. Sex scenes include body piercings and rear door. Louis plays no further part in this story, but fights the d'Argents in the second story titled Eternally His, published in a separate book.
Story length: 57 pages. Sexual language: strong/erotic. Number of sex scenes: four. Setting: present day Miami Beach, Florida. Copyright: 2006. Genre: erotic paranormal romance.
2 stars for ETERNAL SURRENDER (Book 3).
Ok, not bad, but still not worth buying the book. Nothing grabbed me or felt special. There was no emotional buildup for me, just a lot of explicitly described sex scenes. Alina is queen of her vampire clan. She meets Sam, a human. Sam is a dominant and frequently goes to a sex club for dominants and submissives. Alina likes giving up sexual control to Sam. Louis Reynard is the bad vampire in all four of these stories. One of his clan tries to kill Alina for him, but nearly kills Sam instead. Sex scenes include body piercings, rear door, guys with guys and multiple partner orgies.
CAUTION SPOILERS.
To save Sam's life, Alina turns him into a vampire. Now he must be a submissive to her because Alina is the queen, but his nature is to be dominant.
Story length: 87 pages. Sexual language: strong/erotic. Number of sex scenes: ten plus. Setting: 2006 New Orleans, Louisiana, and Paris, France. Copyright: 2007. Genre: erotic paranormal romance.
1.5 stars for ETERNAL VICTORY (Book 4).
Lots of sex, not much plot. I prefer more story and emotional buildup. While reading it, I wanted it to be over. Louis Reynard continues killing human females. Alexandre and Philippe try to follow him and hope to kill him. Mara (a human) is the homicide detective assigned to the case. She and Alexandre work together on the case and fall in love. Sex scenes include body piercings, rear door, guys with guys and multiple partner orgies.
Story length: 67 pages. Sexual language: strong/erotic. Number of sex scenes: six. Setting: present day Miami Beach, Florida. Copyright: 2007. Genre: erotic paranormal romance.
