I bought this whip for my 8 year old Indiana Jones mad boy.

When the whip arrived it came with a red horned devil tag which I promptly removed !!!

This is an "adult toy" being sold under the impression as being a child's play thing. It is a real leather whip and can do some damage.

That being said, when my son saw it he thought it was fabulous, and considers it to be one of his favourite possessions. However, he isn't actually allowed to play with it as such because I am too worried that it would catch someones eye out!! It's kept on a shelf to look at but has really little play value as it is not a play thing.

Far too dangerous for little boys. Looks like a real Indiana Jones whip because it's a real whip....not a toy.

This is a REAL leather bullwhip! And should not be sold to anybody who thinks it is a toy! For persons of a suitable age though it is fine. The only safety feature I think I should point out is that while learning to use it for a convincing portrayal of Indiana Jones the whip is likely to flick back and catch your hand (that might just be me). I bought this for a costume accessory, but it is real! It should noly be bought either by people who know how to work with a whip or somebody who will happly spend a suitable amount of time with their child to teach them how to use it safely!
