yes good idea but costs more but each ones choice on that matter but i did get a pack and one was faulty

I have had similar problems, the only thing I can suggest is that you take out the cartridge that is empty then replace it again maybe you will need to do this several times, and maybe turn your printer off then on again. I know it is frustrating but that is what I have had to do, mind you some times I have had to give up and throw the replacement cartridge away. Good luck.
