AC Adapter power suppy for Laptop 14 Feb 2010

The first product was faulty and it took 2 weeks to get the replacement product. The customer service was appalling,I would not recommend anyone to use this particular company. TheHP COMPAQ 402018-001 AC ADAPTER POWER SUPPLY FOR LAPTOP replacement product is working ok.

Poor Communication 16 July 2011

After two months it stopped working, where I sent two emails to the company with no reply. Got Amazon involved who gave me a refund within 4 hours. I then got an email from the company asking me to return the product and if found faulty a refund would be given! Unlikely to use them again.

This is the genuine HP adapter, it works perfectly, but this is the third since buying my HP notebook 3 years ago, so I have rated it lower in anticipation of it's short life. the plus point is that this adapter was about half the cost of the first one. Any reason why notebook manufacturers can't build in the power supply with a standard power lead?
