I bought a bottle of this locally and was going to dilute it for everyday cleaning, before discovering how amazing it is neat.
My stainless steel roasting pan had been used to bake a whole salmon and I was expecting to need several hot washes to remove the baked on fish oil and skin (I never use foil under it, because of the aluminium issue). I tried a splash of this orange cleaner in the soapy Ecover water and it magically carried away most of the grease first time. My pan now looks like new.
I then tried a dash of this on a scourer for the bottom of a saucepan that had become blackened over years of use and it lifted it all off.
We have an ongoing problem with blockages in the kitchen sink- so do our neighbours, it's the way the pipes are fitted - so I put a small amount of this cleaner down the drain with some very hot water. The sink has never been so clear. Even specialised drain unblockers don't do as good a job, and the good thing about this stuff is that it's degradable too.
I don't usually get on with citrussy smelling products (Fairy grapefruit washing up liquid gives me nausea and headaches instantly) but have had no reaction with this and find the smell quite pleasant. Obviously since it's a strong degreaser, you want to take care not to dry your skin out with it, but I didn't use gloves with it and found a thorough rinse after was ok for occasional use. I'd probably use gloves for prolonged use. Having said that, it works so quickly I can't see me having to use much at a time. Still have three quarters of the bottle left.
