Come on Amazon, get your act together. Where the hell in this paperless global new world?
How come we can't buy The Guardian Kindle download here in Japan and I suspect most parts of Asia.
What use to either the future of Kindle or The Guardian do you serve by making this download only available to people living in countries that can pop around the corner and buy the paper version?

Get it together. A definite downer for Kindle.

I'm living in Japan, I'm able to download and read it with no problems, are you still having difficulties? I know its been a few months since your original post.

Nope, things are fine now and what a difference to life it makes that I can read a high quality professional paper on a daily basis.
