Superb machine but no need to wet the paper.Just fold 3sheet of the Telegraph ; 3times the long way and 4times the short way and it fits a treat. Ten bits like that is about right . The squashing handles not much use. Take them off and replace with a piece of wood bolted to the squasher. Squash down ,take out and fit upright in your Black and Decker workmate.Piece of string round each end and its ready for use.
One each side of your open fire and burn wood and coal between them. Saves fuel in two ways. Smaller fire and the two briquettes slowly burn away (takes about 4 hours) giving lots of heat. Gives a bit more ash but that's good for the garden

Most people seem to have missed the point - PINE is the main constituent of paper - People who intend to burn lots and lots of home-made paper logs or briquettes may find that they suffer chimney fires, blockages and soot falls. You will need, at least, two sweeps per winter if you burn paper or junk mail only.
