About the Author

Susannahs interest in yoga developed in art college in the 1980s, she has been drawing and practising ever since. She holds a BA Hons and an M/Des in Graphic Design, and started training as a yoga teacher in 2003. Had it not been for pregnancy and breastfeeding she would have trained earlier. Her fascination with both yoga and design led her to build up a stack of illustrations which are featured throughout the book. Her inspiration was to make a book that was so enjoyable to use that reading it would feel like doing yoga.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Guide 21 Aug 2012
By Sarah G
Format:Perfect Paperback
A beautiful, unpretentious book, brought to life by clear and gentle illustrations. Easy to read, follow and understand. It's simplicity and clarity makes yoga in pregnancy very accessible to women, especially those who have n't experienced yoga, or its benefits, before. This is a book I highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't panic...just breathe! 13 Aug 2012
By Ellen K
Format:Perfect Paperback
This is lovely book, packed full of simple techniques to help you from the second trimester through to birth. The yoga positions are clearly explained and I found it especially helpful that there are modified versions of the poses for those of us suffering from pelvic (symphysis pubis) pain. I really liked the emphasis put on relaxation, breathing, finding the positions which are best for you and the positive approach to the whole pregancy and birth experience. This is a must-read for all those women preparing for the arrival of their baby!
