I used to spend so much money on mineral water as i didn't like the taste of tap water, this bottle eliminates that taste. I actually brought 2, one for home and one for work.

This bottle is next to useless unless you enjoy randomly spilling water all over yourself, your desk, your carpet etc. When you squeeze the bottle, as per instructions, to decant it into a cup, as I do, the water sometimes doesn't come out of the nozzle, it comes out from UNDER the screw-on cap! Thus it dribbles down the bottle and all over the place! This also occurred with Clear2Go Instant Filtered Water Bottle in Blue. The path of least resistance for the water, when the bottle is squeezed, seems to be to bypass the filter and exit the bottle underneath the screw cap. How hard can it be to make a bottle that doesn't leak? It's not rocket science. This bottle's pros versus the Clear2Go, though it hardly seems proper to mention them now, is that it is translucent, so you can see how much you have left, it is easier to squeeze and every last drop can be used. However the neck diameter is too small to put ice cubes in. But what a frustration this product is! I can't work out why it sometimes behaves and sometimes doesn't. PS: What is the point of the rubber cap when the nozzle closes anyway?
i bought this to filter water because i'm going to be using purifying tablets which often leave a very bad taste. i'm so impressed after testing it with tap water.
i tasted the tap water and there was a noticable chlorine taste to it. then i tried drinking the same water with this bottle. the bad taste was completely gone. i kept drinking water with this bottle trying to sence a bad taste but i couldn't. not even a taste of plastic from the bottle and i CAN taste the plastic from small bottled water.
what supprised me the most was that you didn't really have to squeeze the bottle hard to get water through the filter and that you could drink every drop out of the bottle with the filter in place. also that the bottle is made out of a kind of rubbery plastic which i doubt would ever spring a leak.
the bottle didn't leak at all, no matter how much i tried to make it leak, so they must of fixed that problem. the filters are really easy to change out so its idiot proof.
the only thing i don't really like about it(which is nothing really) is that there is a bit of advertisement propaganda on the bottles label saying "did you know? approx 80% of all plastic water bottles end up in land fill". would you let that stop you from buying this great product?
the jury is still out on wether this will work with water purification tablets as i have yet to try that out so this review might change a little.
btw i am very tempted to try this out with 'coka cola' but i'm sure that'd ruin the filter.
for the price of this product its just incredible.
also for anyone who is curious like i was, the filter material is rock hard. i thought it'd be a compressed spunge foam type thing but nah, its like stone.
