Format: Paperback
Julia Strong has produced an excellent resource for teachers with a responsibility for literacy. The photocopiable pack contains a wide selection of useful resources including information on the different genres of writing, text type definitions and a wide selection of examples which would be useful for all curriculum areas. The pack is well written and accessible for those with little or no experience of developing literacy across Key Stage Three. It also identifies the possible pitfalls co-ordinators need to look out for when introducing a whole school literacy programme.
