Finding the Plot – A Course for Aspiring Fiction Writers

The Festival offers the opportunity for aspiring fiction writers to hone their skills in the company of eminent authors from the literary world in one of the most beautiful historic colleges in Oxford. Tutor-led workshops and masterclasses with internationally known writers are combined with living, dining, learning and writing as a member of a creative community. The tutors are Professor Jem Poster, author and Chair of Creative Writing at Aberystwyth Unviersity; and Sarah Hall whose second novel, The Electric Michelangelo, was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize.

Masterclass speakers include: Jill Dawson; Helen Dunmore; Joanne Harris; Julie Myerson; Ben Okri; Grevel Lindop; and Barry Turner.
