Having previously owned this gem on vinyl and having lost it years ago. it was an absolute delight to discover it still available on cd.Anyone who was interested in the pub music scene of the eighties should really give this a listen as it gives an excellent example of just how diverse good quality R&B can be.Diz and the Doormen not only utilise solid blues rythms to give this offering a sound foundation, there is ample usage of cajun, buckwheat xydeco and other southern state influences that, not only give it an irrestible hip swinging quality, but you would swear the swamp lands of Baton Rouge should be your spiritual home.
