You can grow them in pots and move them inside if the weather turns cold.
And now, springtime, is a good time to plant them.

I did about this time last year. Kept an eye on them and fed weekly after some growth and had great results.

July is late as the plants flower from June onwards. If you live in the South or your garden is very sheltered you may be fine to plant late and still have a lovely show in the autumn. I live in the north and my flowers continued to bloom until late October, but we had an unusually mild autumn.

Generally speaking, the plants in the kit can be planted as annuals in the spring and will flower in the summer. Hope that helps.
