I am not really familiar with this term, but if that helps there was no extra sim or something. I used the phone both without a sim for a while and with my old sim. I am not sure when it will be available on Amazon but I would hazard a guess at the 28th of November as I believe this is the official release date for the UK. I presume they are waiting for stock.
