Answer:
Yes, and I am very happy with it. It would be better if it had a rear camera instead of just a front camera but it does what I want. I hope this helps.

The battery was exhausted only a very few times but all that happened was that the device went dead. I plugged it into the charger and made sure it was powered down so that recharging went as quickly as possible. Within a couple of hours or so I was back in action. Mind you, I have a pretty well organised daily charging routine. Certainly it will function for a couple of days of light use. Great for reading in bed. see less

Answer:
The ME371MG we got in England didn't have a rear camera if that was the question. There is a new, improved, model, the ME372MG which is worth the extra cost. The guarantee I think was a year though by EU law that is now actually required to extend for 2 years. Hope that is useful

Hi Vijay
Yes, a standard mini SIM should work perfectly with this Fonepad. It will then let you use it as a phone and for data when not within a WiFi hotspot.

All in all, it's compact and very useful little device.
Hope that helps.

Answer:
I'm not sure what you mean by a poor wi-fi area as it is your ISP's Broadband that determines the quality of service. I find that the 3g works fine for me. I have used the SIM in a phone and in the Fonepad and it works just as well in either. It isn't ever going to be as fast on 3G as a decent ISP broadband service. Obviously cost depends on your service providers terms if 3g is going to be your sole means of connection. Note that there is a newer model available, the 372. see less
