Yes it can but be careful of the size of the bracket and arm - our bracket can be seen below the tv. The Sony info says it can't be mounted on VESA and maybe this is why (because the bracket will show) but the VESA plate will definitely fit. Hope that helps.

It is a brilliant tv but I was disappointed by the lack of ability to connect to ITV player without the aid of another device. Yes, although the sound from the tv needs a sound bar to boost volume and sound quality bass and treble.Picture quality is best available at present I,think for overall price compared to other tv's Panasonic,samsung etc;

My model definitely has 2, one on the back to which I have connected my BT TV box and one on the side which I intend to use for my Amazon Fire TV little box.
