Yes I unpacked the one I purchased and plugged it in to the mains and it started with no problems, All I have done to it is fitted a new sound card to match my speaker system.I am totally satisfied it is very fast I hope this helps. Les.

I have Windows 7 Dell OptiPlex 745. All required cables of 7 year old Dell XP connect without a problem so I would suggest you'd be OK. regards capsmith
