This will work if you have bt infinity, I had a problem with my vpn connection dropping. Now I dont as I have bought and installed this netgear router.

It's all seemed fine for me, only issues are with power outage I often have to go in an re-test settings and then it all comes on-line again but that may be a BT thing rather than a Netgeat.

I also put time restrictions on for things like gaming so my son doesn't stay on his Xbox all night! This too is a standard feature.

Absolutely, i'm using the exact same setup. Virgin SH is in modem mode, this Router is my wifi and 4 port wired to other devices. Works great. Wifi is super stable but range isn't the greatest, 30ft and through 1 wall is my limit.
