First of all the Corsair Builder Series power supplies are perfectly suitable for a gaming PC. However you have to choose the right model to suit your particular configuration. Simply add together the power required to support the main part of your computer (motherboard including RAM and Hard Drives) plus the power required for your Graphics Board, and then choose the module that gives you enough power. If in doubt, go for a higher power rating because then the worst that can happen is that it doesn't work quite as efficiently. I expect that for most configurations 600W is plenty, but I don't know what you have in mind, so I can't give a more definite answer. see less

Answer:
It is 20+4 ATX Power with a 4+4 lead for the additional motherboard plus the usual sata power leads. The Motherboard power leads are hardwired into the unit. With the 4+4 arrangement you should be fine, just use one of the 4+4.
