If the drip coffee maker for your carafe uses filter paper it should be fine, but you may want to look specifically for medium grind or grind your own coffee if you want it a little stronger. It's suitable for cafetieres so it would be a more coarser grind than some might have, so it wouldn't let as much of the flavour out in a drip coffee maker. Mind you, that's only a slight difference so it may not matter to you, and I do see a lot of supermarket brands with coarse grind recommended for cafetiere, filter machine and moka pot. see less
