But on checking I am puzzled. The 2 I bought from 2 different sellers are different! I had noticed that one was in soft packaging and the other in a box, but they are also slightly different sizes, slightly different colours, the 'sheepskin' has different textures, but most significantly one (from Cyclaire) has a metallic, foil-like sheet under the cover and the other (from Trading Reliably) has a grey material that looks - but doesn't feel - like satin. I don't know which one is better.
I don't know about the Cyclaire one in soft packaging, but the box from Trading Reliably has no brand name on it - so is it Ancol? see less

Sorry to have been so long replying. The self heating pad I bought was too big for a cat bed, but I reckon it would be too small for your puppy'crate. Having used one I am not too enchanted, I think getting the bed above floor level cuts down on body heat loss from draughts, and/ a sheet of polystyrene (from a builders/DIY store big enough to sit the crate on is a better way to keep an anima. One layer or severall warm. Inside the crate/bed I use cheapm quilts cut to size and stitched round to keep the filling in. One layer or several according to whether is any other heating in the home. If you put a self heating mat under these better still. I just think its are not enough on their own, unless, possibly, with a high sided bed/blankets round the grate. see less
