Yes and very good for small amounts, which is what we wanted it for - fresh spices for curry. The container that contains the ground spices can be washed up on it's own which is great.

Hi. No, this is a blade grinder. By all accounts, the next step up from a blade grinder is a burr grinder which gives a more consistent grind and therefore better end flavour. Hope this helps.

It does not dispense the grounds ,you brush the grounds out into a container of your choice with the brush provided.

The secret of grinding coffee to your own taste is fun, but if you grind it too finely it will not allow the water to filter through, if this happens you have to start again with fresh beans, but don't waste any too finely ground coffee just mix it up with your newly ground a teaspoonful at a time, best of luck.
