Sorry Chris - I'm out of my depth with this one. I can say that I recently switched from Windows XP to Windows 7 and the programme runs perfectly well. I hope that may be of help.

Almost certainly, yes - but without the on-screen Help feature. Smartsuite 9.8.2 was recently installed under Windows 8.1. 1. 'Setup.exe' located on Lotus installation disc. 2. Its Properties / Compatability was set to Windows XP Service Pack 2. Also Run as Administrator (though this may not be necessary) 3. Double-click 'Setup.exe' and follow Lotus instructions. The full Smartsuite was originally installed but this was uninstalled because only Lotus Approach was required. A re-installation of Approach only (following 1 - 3 above) was successful. It seems to be working correctly but without on-screen Help which relied on a feature no longer supported by Microsoft.

Sorry Chris but I haven't a clue, all I can tell you is that it works perfectly well with windows 7 and 8.1 ., but I only us it for personal use on my own computer ( invoices and office work through snail mail ), and don't use it over the internet in the form of emailing or messaging
