Hiya, I bought this for my husbands bike he uses it all weathers its survived some very heavy downpours. He only uses these lights and the bike is fitted with the usual reflectors and they are very sufficient. Hope this helps

Batteries included: 3 AAA for front, 2 AAA for rear light. After 4 months I'm still on the first set of batteries.

Crashed and mangled both lights and can't really remember. Very bright lights. Durable. And they don't use the battery to fast. Will be buying a second set. Really good value. I have a racer and it does take a lot of room on the handlebars. Only draw back
