Size is of course subjective, I wouldn't say this was too big to go on a belt. It has a built in belt clip and hardly weighs anything at all. It is useless. It does not even work even at 6 feet of a dog in the open. I see other people giving good reviews to Dazer II, so I assume it depends on the "personality" of the dog to be sensitive or resistant to Dazer II

I can't say, I only bought one. Have had some success with neighbours yapping sausage dog next door, but only when about 12 inches from it's nose.

im not sure it works, also it might affect your dog when you use it against other dogs as it will be in the vicinity. if it doesnt work try a water pistol.
