I believe the letters at the end of the model numbers are purely for the colour of the mixer; BOB is black, BAC is cream.

I haven't had this happen, but a friend just last week warned me about this very thing, she said it was bush wear and her husband had had to tighten it up. Where the screw is I do not know. Sorry I can't be of much help.
