I cannot recommend this book. The mum has a nervous breakdown in front of her kids. Shouts at them, breaks down into tears and starts ramming her face full of cake. Then we are introduced to her boyfriend. Bad image of a single mother not coping

A light hearted rather amusing view of the naughty step!Ideal for single mum's.Entertaining for all ages!Not just for children who need to use this discipline though!Leaves you smiling. Well written, good illustrations etc.Highly recommended.

as with all Mick Inkpen books this is a lovely story with beautiful illustration. our 2 year old loves it so much she can recite some of it already. the story will ring true for most parents of young children

I spend my time on the step now
Who's Idea was it for Mummy to end up on the naughty step, I find myself on the step more that the kids, what does that tell you, we have to read the book on the stairs too.
