Not only film companies but tv companies especially Americans who put on a series then pull it before the public can even voice a view..... Fox springs to mind. I suggest a boycott but no one ever practices that these days....

What everyone should do is wait until the film studio release the trilogy in blu ray extended editions. That way you are not paying extra for editions which are not as good as this later release. If you haven't got the Lord of the rings extended edition in blu ray you may want to wait until they release all 6 films together in one box set.
