As a long time fan of Robert Goddard and John Grisham I am used to fast paced action, believable characters and twists and turns that keep you guessing from start to finish. I had just bought a Kindle and, having read all of the aforementioned writers' books, I started to scan the Amazon Kindle section for an alternative writer. Not sure how I would adapt to reading on a Kindle I started my search at 'lowest price' so that if I didn't take to my Kindle I would have lost nothing. I came across this book and at less than £1 decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. I must admit that a thriller with a priest as the hero was not really what I was looking for but the reviews were very positive so I downloaded and started to read - and from page 1 was well and truly hooked!! I now know that a Kindle is as good to read as everyone told me it would be and that my next Kindle purchase will be another `Roy Carter'.
