Bought this as an xmas present for my 20 month old (the box suggests suitable from 18 months). We had already got the horse box by this brand and were very pleased with it for the price we paid. We had wanted to get her a house for Christmas, and this one was half price. It seemed good value as you also get the car and 3 people.
It needed initial assembly by adults (or over 4s at least)and went together fairly easily. My daughter likes it, and has developed an obsession with the tables and chairs. The main problem though is that she would like to move it around, and as soon as she does so it falls apart. We are considering glueing it together, but are not sure how well it would work. It is a good basic toy house, but far more suited to an older child who would be able to do the assembly themselves, and little more gentle with the finished product.

I bought this at a bargain price - there is absolutely no value in a bargain if it is an unplayable toy! I would not waste your money even at half the price, save up and buy a sturdier, easy to assemble well-known brand.
The house flimsily fit together with great difficulty as some pieces had "burrs" of plastic that blocked the fittings. Once assembeld it was rickety and my 2 year old, who plays very nicely with her toys leant over the house and it collapsed. The base boards warped and would not lie flat. There were no instructions in the box, but whatever way you assemble it it will not stay assembled in a sturdy enough fashion for a toddler.
I bought a pack of Ecoiffier bricks as an add on present to build along with the house and they are just as shoddy.
My tip - go with the well known building block brands as I wish I had.
