I buy this publication every year as I find it an indispensable reference book for an aviation enthusiast like me. It is relatively cheap, particularly at Amazon prices, and a convenient pocket size.

Its been a few years since I bothered with military. Now, having relocated, I see a lot of the stuff buzzing my house, so decided to get back to it. And, of course, this little handy pocket-sized book remains the must have for the travelling spotter. I last bought it about 10 years ago and the format is still much the same, only the aircraft have evolved and its as good as it was then.
For the officianados of tech and spec, there are plenty of other titles, but this is your general enthusiasts bible. And I got it from Amazon with a day of its release, at a cheaper price, so I'm twice as pleased.
Definitely one for old timers, as well as newbies to the hobby.
